Monk Chat Welcomes 20 Students from Victoria Shanghai Academy, Hong Kong, for a Special Cultural and Buddhist Exchange The Monk Chat Program at Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, Chiang Mai Campus (MCU Chiang Mai), hosted a Special Activity welcoming a group of 20 high school students from Victoria Shanghai Academy (VSA) in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, accompanied by their teacher, Aj. KK. Ashin Sucitta, President of Monk Chat, together with committee members, warmly received the visiting delegation. The activity was organized around three core objectives: cultural exchange, English conversation between the students and monk-scholars, and an introduction to the principles and practices of Buddhism. The Monk Chat Special Activity provided international students with a rare and meaningful opportunity to engage directly with Buddhist monk-scholars in a warm, open, and intellectually enriching environment. This engagement offered participants a genuine understanding of Theravāda Buddhism and Thai monastic life, consistent with MCU's mission of propagating Buddhism to the international community. MCU Chiang Mai continues to serve as a leading center for Buddhist education and cross-cultural dialogue, welcoming delegations from around the world through programs such as Monk Chat.
